a zine made by three friends mostly on Sundays at a church in Nashville. (Really.)
The story of BROS began with an epic poster we found in an 80s magazine. It's a photo of two English brothers, Matt and Luke, who formed the musical group Bros in 1986. We don’t know them, this isn’t even about them, but we liked their energy. We all thought, "I wish I had the confidence these guys have, to accessorize to the nines and expose my sternum and smolder for the camera." So, inspired by the feminist publications of our youth, we decided that the goal of our zine is to work up the same amount of confidence as a bro.
For each issue, we pick a one-word theme out of a hat and run wild.

Our second theme pulled from a hat was "melted." For this issue, we took a group field trip to Madame Tusseaud's Nashville, honored the Melting Pot, analyzed the Wicked Witch's aversion to water, and sooo much more. We also created a playlist of songs we each played so loud that our speakers melted.
